We regularly receive emails regarding covid, so we’ve compiled a list of helpful info for our Customers and Community. We’ll continue to update as information comes in. And FYI, we deliberately used lower-case letters for covid… don’t want to give it more power than it deserves.

covid-related updates are FREE

For our Customers, any covid-related website changes are free. For our non-Customers, reach out if you want help with your website updates… we’ll do our best to help and will do so it’s free. #BetterTogether #AmericaWorksTogether

Help your business succeed during covid

  • Let your Customers know if you’re open by keeping your website updated with current hours and limitations
  • Let Community Broadcasters know you’re open for business, they’re telling their listeners for free! Email kevin@commbroadcasters.com or john_griffo@commbroadcasters.com
  • Add your business to the NWF Daily News Local Business Directory (free)
  • Restaurants – add your business to Get the Coast Restaurant app and submit to FindFood850 Facebook Group (see links below**)
  • Stay active on social media to remind your Customers you’re doing well. Every day you post is a day you show up in their feed.
  • Reach out to your Customers individually (if feasible) and ask how you can help them
  • Apply for Economic Relief (see Okaloosa County links below and contact your business banker)
  • Sell gift cards, merchandise, or offer online classes or training
  • Make the most of your downtime – work on that project you’ve been planning for but didn’t have the time (now you DO)
  • Let your local Chamber know you’re still operating, or what changes you’ve made, and let them know how they can help you
  • Partner with a local printing shop to sell merchandise online
  • Purchase from small local businesses if possible; consider adding a gift card to your purchase to be used well after things open again (or better yet, give them as holiday and birthday gifts – they are easy to mail)
  • Focus on small steps, one after the other
