Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce

Fort Walton Beach Chamber logoCWS is proud to be a member of the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, since January, 2005. The FWB Chamber brings together business, non-profit, and cultural leaders of our area, strengthening local businesses and enhancing the quality of life in our community by providing services which help businesses help themselves. They’re also an incredibly fun and inviting group of people.

Greyhound Pets of America – Emerald Coast

Greyhound Pets of America, a racing neutral organization was founded in 1987 for the purpose of finding good pet homes for ex-racing Greyhounds. GPA-EC, A chapter of Greyhound Pets of America, is a volunteer, not-for-profit corporation organized to educate the public of the value of retired greyhounds as pets and receive and process greyhounds for adoption.

Bosom Buddies Breast Cancer Support Group

Bosom Buddies FWBBosom Buddies Breast Cancer Support Group provides an organized support group for anyone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, whether it was several years ago or yesterday. Participants may be in remission or receiving treatment. BBud offers support to those who may now going through similar emotions or circumstance, in a positive and caring atmosphere of sharing experience and hope with each other. Meetings are listed on and on the Group’s Facebook page.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer / American Cancer Society

Down To A Ta logoLisa Smith has walked every year in October since 2010, and she and her team “Down To a Ta” have helped to raise more than $30,000 to support ACS/MSABC in winning their fight against breast cancer. One of the main ways we’ve been so successful is through donations collected for handmade beaded bracelets, Bracelets for Boobies.
