We discovered another hacked user account. One of our users opened a questionable .zip file attachment and their computer was hacked. Our mail server to become a spam machine; we found 1.5 million outgoing messages in the queue.
It would be impossible for CWS to monitor every mail user’s responsible use of e-mail and/or the internet. We have a solution for those Customers that don’t wish to be a part of others’ sloppy habits.
We recommend G Suite Basic or G Suite Business. It uses the familiar Gmail interface, but allows users to keep their e-mail addresses at their domain name (for example, firstname.lastname@example.org). It separates you from less-responsible web users, keeping your account from being affected if another account is compromised. We use G Suite Business here at CWS, and highly recommend it for e-mail. It has other benefits as well, such as shared calendaring, documents, slides, forms, sheets (spreadsheets) and file sharing inside and outside of your organization. G Suite works great across multiple machines (desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, etc.) and is easy to use. Google’s spam filtering is included in the cost, and each account can hold 30 GB of data (Basic) or unlimited (Business). Contact us for pricing, or click here to sign up for G Suite*.
Contact us today if you think G Suite would work for you, We can also answer any questions you may have. And with a 30 day free trial, you have nothing to lose.
