Web Design Virtual Assistant

  • Remote / work from home
  • 15 – 20 hours per week to start, hoping to grow into full-time position
  • $15 – $20 per hour depending on experience
  • Regular schedule to start with – flexible schedule for the right candidate after initial probationary time, training and earned trust (both sides)

Job duties

  • WordPress website changes and additions, content and photo updates, using a variety of themes and plugins, Divi page builder, Gutenberg editor and classic editor. Wix or Duda or other web builder software experience is helpful
  • Communication with Customers on content changes/updates
  • Website buildouts, site and content migrations, redesigns; supporting design/redesign projects
  • Research and schedule blog and social media posts a couple of times per month
  • Familiarity with domain Registrars (such as Godaddy, Web.com, etc.) 
  • Other duties as capabilities support

Job requirements

  • Tech savvy … don’t have to be an expert … but quick learner, with some on the job training
  • WordPress experience is a must
  • Knowledge of Gmail (G Suite), Google Docs and Sheets … and Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram)
  • Trust is paramount (and mutual)
  • Reliability, consistency, dependability, availability during CWS office hours
  • Ability to follow our workflows and best practices
  • Open and transparent communication
  • Willingness to learn and grow

Helpful knowledge and skills

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, SEO best practices, and photo editing
  • Web design / graphic design experience is a plus
